Karlie Kloss is a pioneer for women in tech. For my #makingstrides competition submission I took inspiration from polar lights and dark-theme code editors. I used CLO3D to edit the jacket, create trousers, repeat prints and stylise the fabrics. I created the scene in Blender and rendered still images and short animations through cycles.

Through this collection I aimed to integrate visual originality with technical innovation - blending a dichotomy of sculpted volume with streamlined construction. Pulling inspiration between feminine undertones and functionality, whilst referring to the organic roots of the mountain: its shapes, textures, and volatility. I visually experimented with fabric manipulation techniques to recreate and define the ridges, edges, carving tracks, knots and contours found within the mountains.
