My inspiration for this collection stemmed from the depths of the mountains. It is a collection in support of the #saveourmountains campaign. With a dream to upcycle vintage skis into fashion, I was thrifty with the resources in front of me, repurposing outdoor objects, tools and materials into clean, fresh accessories and details.

Through this collection I aimed to integrate visual originality with technical innovation - blending a dichotomy of sculpted volume with streamlined construction. Pulling inspiration between feminine undertones and functionality, whilst referring to the organic roots of the mountain: its shapes, textures, and volatility. I visually experimented with fabric manipulation techniques to recreate and define the ridges, edges, carving tracks, knots and contours found within the mountains.
